Have You Had Enough Of Stress

Have You Had Enough Of Stress

stress
At 7 a.m., you wake up, make coffee, drag yourself to work for 8 hours, come home, lather, rinse, and repeat. Dealing with the daily grind can take a lot out of a person and be exceptionally stressful! This blog provides many helpful tips and tricks to managing your stressful everyday life.
If you are feeling stressed out by work then go out of your way to help someone in need. Sometimes, it will take a good deed for you to feel good about yourself and reduce the tension that you have. Sign up at a homeless shelter and aid the needy to help reduce stress.
If you’re feeling stressed, try going for a massage. Getting a nice massage is a great way to have the physical tension worked out of your body. If your body is less physically tense, your mind can be less mentally tense. Massages are a great way to relax and forget about the world.
A good tip that can help you get your stress down is to start making sure you have enough time to get to places. There’s nothing more stressful than arriving late to work or to an important meeting. Making sure you get to places early or on time can help you keep your stress down.
One important tip to remember in stress reduction is to know your objectives. When you have a clear idea of your objective, you know exactly what kind of results you want to obtain. Knowing this will help you to act accordingly, in order to achieve those results and avoid being stressed out by unexpected results.
To lower your stress levels. make sure you exercise at least three to five times each week for thirty minutes each session. The exercise can be anything from running and swimming to simply a daily walk. Exercise has the benefit of releasing endorphins, chemicals that enhance your mood, making it a great way to de-stress at the end of a hectic day!
Pleasant aromas can help relieve stress. Smelling items like eucalyptus, peppermint oil, lavender, thyme, oils of anise, bay, and rose can soothe you. In a small container you can add some popular scented oils and a bit of rock salt to create your own aromatherapy. When you feel like you are getting too stressed out, take a smell of the vial.
A fantastic tip that can help you keep your stress levels down is to make sure you have good posture at all times. When people slouch, they aren’t getting as much oxygen to the brain and that can make them stressed. Having and maintaining good posture can help you keep your stress levels down.
Learn positive thinking techniques to conquer stress. When you are feeling stressful, sit down and take some deep breaths. Close your eyes and think of yourself in your favorite relaxing place. Whether it is on a beach relaxing and sipping a drink or at a ball game with your kids, laughing and having a good time. Just thinking about positive and stress free situations will make the stress go away.

Have You Had Enough Of Stress

Commit yourself to a hobby you love. Hobbies have the ability to take your mind off of the day’s stressors. Plus, many hobbies are also active in nature, making them doubly powerful in reducing stress. Quite a few people swear by the perspective that stepping back and partaking in a hobby gives them on their stressful tasks at hand. They often come back to the task with refreshed energy and even creative solutions that seemingly appeared out of the blue!
In order to get a stress attack under control, try using an imagination exercise. Attempt to picture yourself being at a place that you enjoy or find relaxing. For example, if you enjoy beach outings, mentally picture yourself lying on a beach. If you do this for a few minutes, you’ll find that it may help in getting your breathing under control and lowering your pulse rate.
One great way to deal with stress is to be sure that you are not projecting your stress upon somebody else and taking them down with you. This is important because you need to deal with your own stress yourself and not assert blame on anybody if they are not responsible.
Take up reading as a hobby. This is important because sometimes, reading a book can immerse you more than watching a movie or anything else could. If the book is engaging enough, you may shortly find yourself in your own world, free from all that ails you.
Be aware of your body and your stress triggers. If you know you will be spending time with someone you don’t like, or that your jaw tightens when you get upset, prepare in advance. This will help you take steps to help you cope. Knowing what sets you off can help you catch yourself before it gets to be too much.
Make it a habit to rate whatever is stressing you on a scale from one to ten. One being a very small issue while ten being a major stress breakdown. Often, you will find the stresses you have at hand will fall in the lower end of the spectrum. This is a great way to put your stressful situations into perspective.
Take up meditation. Just taking time to quiet your mind can be a big help and reduce stress in the process. Many studies have been done about the great benefits of meditation, so learn a little bit about it and let your stress melt away.
You never have to let the stress become too much for you to take as long as you have a way to fight back. Yes, life can get pretty hectic at times and leave you feeling a massive strain. Things can feel like they’re going to blow up at any minute. But it’s always darkest before the dawn. Use the tips you’ve learned here and you should be able to get rid of that stress.

How To Overcome The Stress Of Everyday Life

How To Overcome The Stress Of Everyday Life

stress
Before you continue to read this blog start the video below to listen to the music to set the mood.
At a meditation and Yoga session the other day we discussed the subject of how stress and anxiety comes to us, that we as individuals decide to take it on and so we can also make the decision to let it go. Easier said then done for the many people suffering from stress and anxiety.
I don’t know about you but when anxiety and stress sets in it feels like you are unable to manage things around you. It’s like electrical pulses running through your body and you can’t control them.
They funny thing is that we do need stress to some degree however you need to try and not let it take control of you.
We may talk about cutting the stress from our lives, but we need those precious, powerful fight-or-flight hormones our bodies produce when we’re about to be hit by a car or when confronted with an unexpected, needed-it-yesterday deadline at work.
Stress is a burst of energy, It’s our body telling us what we need to do.
Moderate amounts of stress can help people perform tasks more efficiently and can improve memory. Good stress is the type of emotional challenge where a person feels in control and provides some sense of accomplishment. It can improve heart function and make the body resistant to infection. Far from being something we need to eliminate from our lives, good stress stimulates us.
I currently run a massage therapy business and I feel the stress and tension that individuals carry in their bodies everyday . I myself have suffer from stress and anxiety and have managed to keep it under control. Here are some tips that may help you.
1. Don’t Be Scared To Make a change In Your Life:
If you are unhappy in your job change it. Yes it may scare you at first but there is nothing worse than continuing doing something you just don’t like doing. There are so many opportunities out there especially if you take the time to look. You may even consider to start your own business. Take the time to investigate on the internet and you may surprise yourself.
2. Learn to Breathe Easily
Find a quiet spot in your home to practice breathing deeply. Make yourself comfortable before beginning. Begin by putting your hand on your abdomen just below the navel. Inhale slowly through your nose and watch your hand move out as your belly expands. Hold the breath for a few seconds, then exhale slowly. Focus on the feeling and the sound of your breathing. When your mind wonders focus back on your breathing. After a while you will notice you heart rate lower and you will feel calmer. A great technique to use when you arrive home from work.
3. Visualizing Been Calm
I am an extremely visual person and find this technique to be fantastic. Close your eyes, take three long, slow breaths, and spend a few seconds picturing a relaxing scene, such as walking in a meadow, kneeling by a brook, or lying on the beach. Focus on the details—the sights, the sounds, the smells.
3. Make Time for Massage
The benefits of a massage are amazing. It’s an opportunity to relax the body and mind, it helps with stress and stress related problems and improves your overall feeling of well-being.
4. Write It Down On Paper
This is a great way to put things into perspective. Think in terms of what you can control vs what you can’t. Write these down and focus on what you can change and stop fretting over what you can’t.
5. Just In Time Feedback
Don’t be afraid to speak your mind. It’s ok to show your feelings and Its ok to say no. Don’t be scared to say something to someone if you disagree. Everyone has an opinion and so do you. . Be clear about your limits, and stop trying to please everyone all the time.
6. Use Your Smell
Something I have learn’t through massage is Aromatherapy. Oils of anise, basil, bay, chamomile, eucalyptus, lavender, peppermint, rose, and thyme are all soothing. Place a few pieces of rock salt in a small vial, then add a couple of drops of the oil of your choice (the rock salt absorbs the oil and is much less risky to carry around in your purse than a bottle of oil). Open the vial and breathe in the scent whenever you need a quick stress release. Look for the oils in your local health food store, or try one of the following mail-order companies.
7. Admit It and Except it
Each of us has uniquely individual stress signals — neck or shoulder pain, shallow breathing, stammering, teeth gritting, queasiness, loss of temper. Learn to identify yours, Recognizing and excepting your personal stress signals helps slow the buildup of negativity and anxiety.
8. Take a Walk
Get out of the office and go for a walk. It forces you to breathe more deeply and improves circulation. The key is to get up and move.
9. Listen To Some Music
Music is so good for the soul. It can do everything from slow heart rate to increase endorphins. Choose music you like and take the time to listen to it.
10. Fall for Puppy
It has been proved that those who own a dog have lower blood pressure than those who don’t. Dogs are such a wonderful animal and extremely loyal. Patting an animal for just a couple of minutes helps relieve stress.
11. Practice Mindfulness
This is a great technique to master. Heighten your awareness by focusing intently on an object. Notice a pen’s shape, color, weight and feel. Or slowly savor a piece of chocolate. Mindfulness leads to relaxation.
